Public investment projects in the execution of works by direct administration

Abstract
The planning of public investment projects in the execution of works has generated that not all of these are executed, causing the return of the budget. For this reason, the objective is to determine the influence of public investment projects in the execution of works by direct administration. The research design was non-experimental of a correlational type and quantitative approach, the sample consisted of 38 officials of the municipality to whom the survey technique and collection instruments were applied. It was found that public investment projects in the execution of works by direct administration have the Chi square value of 5.391 and p_value (significance value) is equal to 0.068 compared to the statistical significance ? equal to 0.05 (p_value > ?), means that the null hypothesis is accepted, the data of the variable are independent, it implies the non-dependence of one variable on another. It was concluded that there is a direct and significant relationship between public investment projects in the execution of works by direct administration.
