Digital competences and performance in teachers in an educational context of the Secondary Education level of Metropolitan Lima

Abstract
The main purpose of this study was to measure the degree of relationship between the digital skills
that the teacher develops and their performance, which was approached from the quantitative
approach, responds to a correlational level investigation and non-experimental design to the extent
that it does not Some manipulation of the variables has been attempted by the researcher, on the
contrary, it has been sought to establish the relationship between them, it is cross-sectional since the
data were collected at a single moment and time, and whose population consisted of 51 teachers in
the exercise of pedagogical activities to which the Likert-type scale instrument was administered in
order to record relevant information applying the survey technique, finally the results showed that
there is a relationship between the variables, according to sig. = 0.00 <0 .05, this being a high positive
degree to the extent that if the teacher strengthens their digital skills, it Evidence of improvements in
their performance in their work.
