This article aims to analyze how reflective teaching practices have been developing from the study of different approaches, concepts and innovative strategies that have become a challenge for teachers, who see the need to change how working today in schools with the limitations that arise such as the lack of initial and continuous training of teachers with respect to the use of technology, the lack of knowledge in digital competence, the importance of knowledge and application of innovative strategies for virtual reflective practice. The methodology we used in this review article was the detailed, critical and reflective search and review of more than 50 Scientific articles on the reflective practice of teaching digital competences in the main academic databases. Finally, we conclude that it depends on the disposition and desire for improvement that the teacher
has to carry out an adequate reflective practice making use of technology to cope with change and the different educational scenarios in which they find themselves.
