Distributed leadership and continuous improvement in educational organizations

Abstract
The article reviews research by various authors exhaustively analyzing distributed leadership for continuous improvement in educational organizations, oriented to collaborative, organizational, participatory and democratic work, promoting a shared vision of common goals and objectives, contributing to educational quality and job satisfaction. Objective. Carry out a descriptive and bibliographic review that allows us to identify distributed leadership as a new pedagogical culture in school organizations for improvement processes, a very important factor to contribute to school effectiveness, teacher performance contributing to continuous improvement. Materials and method. The search was characterized by the type of descriptive and documented review, since the procedure involves phases such as: the tracking, organization, systematization and analysis of a set of textual documents and national and international databases, taking into account three basic moments such as exploration, targeting and deepening. Results. We find that there are high reliability values, in addition, they are evidenced as educational organizations of distributed leadership modalities, give way to changes at the internal level, which have an impact on educational improvement. Conclusion. The research may be of use to researchers, educational leaders and professionals in the different areas, levels and modalities of the educational field.
